Jo ek duje ke yaadon mein hum dono khoye rehate hai,
Dilon par to pyar se pyar ki huqumat hai,
Bas dur rehakar bhi yahi ek dastane zindagi ji rahe hai.

Is tarah se kuch woh mere dil mein shamil hai,
Sirf woh hi dil ke aas paas hai ab bas yehi ehsaas hai,
Duniya ke is bheed mein tanha to hum rehate hai,
Magar yeh duniya kya samjhe ki khayalon mein woh bhi to mere saath hai.

Mil gaye ho tum to mil gayee hai zindagi bhar ka sukoon,
Majboori aur farz ki zanjeer mein jakade hai hum aur jakade ho tum,
Magar mere har dard aur aah woh hi ek hai jo samajhte hai,
Phir bhi unke ek jhalak ke liye yeh aankhen hai jo tarasti hai.
