Duniya ki nazron mein girna mere kis kaam aaya,
Apno se bichad kar woh bewafa gairon ke kaam aaya..

Main bhool chuka tha ki apne hi bewafai karte hain,
Duniya meri barbaad karke use zara bhi rehem na aaya..

Agar woh wafadaar hoti to yoon bewafai na karti,
Mujhe uska intezaar raha, par voh lout kar na aaya..

Zindagi to qaafiro ke sang gujar hi jaayegi,
Par jise dost samjha woh dushmani karne aaya..

Qatal hi karna tha toh samne se karti,
Humdard bankar kyon usne peeth main khanjar chalaya..

Dost bana kar fir humse dushmani na ho saki,
Kyon ki bewafaai usne kyon use mujh par pyar na aaya..

Nazro mai uski ab sharm ke cheente hai,
Ab tanhaai ne sataya toh mere pas chala aaya..

Fakat mujhe uski zarurat bhi kya hai ''ISHQ''
Ab zanaza mera dekhkar kyon use rona aaya..

दुनिया की नज़रों में गिरना मेरे किस काम आया,
अपनों से बिछड़ कर वोह बेवफा गैरों के काम आया..

मैं भूल चूका था की अपने ही बेवफाई करते हैं,
दुनिया मेरी बर्बाद करके उसे ज़रा भी रहम न आया..

अगर वोह वफादार होती तो यूं बेवफाई न करती,
मुझे उसका इंतज़ार रहा पर वोह लौट कर न आया..

ज़िन्दगी तो काफिरों के संग गुजर ही जायेगी,
पर जिसे दोस्त समझा वोह दुश्मनी करने आया..

कतल ही करना था तोह सामने से करती,
हमदर्द बनकर क्यों उसने पीठ मैं खंजर चलाया..

दोस्त बना कर फिर हमसे दुश्मनी न हो सकी,
क्यों की बेवफाई उसने क्यों उसे मुझ पर प्यार न आया..

नजरो मैं उसकी अब शर्म के छींटे है,
अब तन्हाई ने सताया तोह मेरे पास चला आया..

फकत मुझे उसकी ज़रूरत भी क्या है '' इश्क ''
अब ज़नाज़ा मेरा देखकर क्यों उसे रोना आया..
